Structural Warranty for Residential Developments

J3 Advisory was instructed by Square & Crescent to place the structural warranty for Henderson Palace, a residential development delivering 42 apartments, ranging from studios through to four-bedroom units.

Situated between Stockbridge and Canonmills on the north side of Edinburgh’s New Town, Henderson Palace is one of the few new developments delivered in the area in recent years. The location offers a strong lifestyle proposition, with close access to green spaces and the amenities of the city centre.

Developments in established, high-demand urban areas place a particular emphasis on build quality, long-term performance and stakeholder confidence. A structural warranty supports these outcomes by providing protection against latent defects in design, materials or workmanship that may only become apparent after completion—helping to provide reassurance for purchasers, funders and project teams alike.

J3 Advisory worked closely with the wider team to ensure the proposed warranty structure reflected the scheme’s profile and programme requirements, providing continuity of support through the placement process.

Working with the J3 team was a fantastic experience. Johnny's professionalism and attention to detail were evident throughout the process. He consistently went above and beyond to meet our needs and deliver timely results.
